I am an artist. It’s hard to define being an artist. There are many components, but creativity is one of the biggest. Creativity is an untamed force, like the flow of water, at times rapid and forceful, at times rhythmic and predictable. It can rise, flood over, slow to a trickle or drip, be languid, be deep, or be still and fertile. Much like water needs a container, creativity needs an Artist, someone who adds imagination, skill, vision and effort to modulate the flow into something more than a mud puddle. Even mud puddles can be inspiring sometime though. I always have many projects to work on because that creative flow creates pressure that has to move along.
